If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Luang Prabang. Head southeast on Kingkitsarath Rd. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Sisavangvong Rd. Turn right onto Sisavangvong Rd, then take a left onto Phu Si Hill Rd. Follow the road up the hill. The entrance to Wat Chom Si is located at the top of Phu Si Hill, where you will find a staircase leading up to the temple. There is a small parking area available near the entrance.

For those using public transportation, you can take a tuk-tuk from any location in Luang Prabang. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Wat Chom Si or Phu Si Hill, and they will drop you off at the entrance. The fare typically ranges from 20,000 to 50,000 LAK depending on your starting point. Once you arrive, you will need to walk up the steps to reach the temple at the top.

If you are already in the vicinity of Phu Si Hill, you can walk to Wat Chom Si. From the city center, walk towards Kingkitsarath Rd and follow it until you see the signs for Phu Si Hill. It's a popular walking route, and the journey will take approximately 15-30 minutes depending on your pace. As you ascend, you will pass by various viewpoints and possibly see the Buddha foot imprint along the way.
