Head east from the Royal Palace along Sisavangvong Road, crossing the Nam Khan River via the bamboo bridge (seasonal, small fee applies). Continue straight, following the road along the riverbank until you reach Thongbay Guesthouse. Alternatively, walk along Kingkitsarath Road, turn right to cross the bridge and follow the road along the riverbank.
