    From the Phakse bus station, you can take a local bus heading towards Champasak. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around 10,000 LAK. Once you reach Champasak, you will need to hire a tuk-tuk or local taxi to take you the remaining 6 km to Vat Phou, which will cost about 20,000 LAK.

    If you are already in Champasak, tuk-tuks are readily available. You can negotiate a fare with the driver, which typically ranges from 30,000 to 50,000 LAK for a round trip to Vat Phou. Ensure to agree on a return time with your driver before setting off.
