Walking
From Vang Vieng town, start by heading east towards the Nam Song River. Cross the bamboo bridge (small fee applies). Continue straight, following signs towards Pha Poak. Lusi Cave is about a 20-minute walk past Pha Poak. Be prepared for uneven terrain.
Tuk-tuk
Hire a tuk-tuk from Vang Vieng town center. Negotiate the price beforehand, a typical short trip costs around 10,000 LAK per person. The tuk-tuk can drop you off near Pha Poak, from where you can walk the remaining distance to Lusi Cave. Confirm with the driver if they will wait for your return or arrange a pickup time.
Motorbike
Rent a motorbike in Vang Vieng (approx. 40,000 LAK per day). Follow the road towards Pha Poak. Park your motorbike near Pha Poak and walk the rest of the way to Lusi Cave. Be cautious on the dirt roads. Parking near the cave is free.
