    From Vang Vieng's main street, head northwest, passing the Vang Vieng Market. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the road leading to the Blue Lagoon. Turn right and follow it for about 2 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the way to Phapoak Mountain. The total walking distance from the center of Vang Vieng is approximately 3 kilometers. Expect to pay around 10,000-15,000 kip for a tuk-tuk from the bus station to the town center if you arrive by bus. From there, the walk to the mountain is manageable.
