Getting There

  • Car

    From Vang Vieng, head north on Route 13 for about 5 kilometers. Look for a sign indicating a turn for Phapoak Mountain towards the east. Follow the unnamed road as it twists and turns through the karst landscape. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you see the entrance to Phapoak Mountain. Parking is available nearby, and there may be a small fee to park.

  • Public Transportation (Songthaew)

    In Vang Vieng, locate the main bus station. You can take a songthaew (a shared taxi) that is headed towards Phapoak Mountain. The fare should be around 20,000 to 30,000 LAK per person.
