If you are starting from the city center, head southeast towards Lane Xang Avenue. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rue Setthathirath. Turn left onto Rue Setthathirath and continue walking until you see the Mahosot Hospital on your right. Keep going straight until you reach the intersection with Rue Chao Anouvong. Turn right onto Rue Chao Anouvong and continue walking. After about 500 meters, you will see the Lao Textile Museum on your left, located at Ban Nongtha-tai, Chanthabouly District.

If you prefer to take a tuk-tuk, you can easily find one at various spots around Vientiane, especially near tourist attractions or hotels. Once you get in, tell the driver you want to go to the Lao Textile Museum located in Ban Nongtha-tai, Chanthabouly District. The drivers are usually familiar with the museum. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes from the city center, depending on traffic.
