    If you are starting from the center of Vientiane, head south on Rue Setthathirath towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rue Khun Bu Lom. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Rue That Luang. Turn left onto Rue That Luang, and you will see Pha That Luang on your right after about 500 meters. The walk should take approximately 20-25 minutes.
