If you are starting from the center of Vientiane, head east down Lane Xang Avenue. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Kaysone Phomvihane Avenue. Turn right onto Kaysone Phomvihane Avenue and walk for approximately 500 meters. You will see the golden stupa of Pha That Luang in front of you.

Find a tuk-tuk stand, which are common throughout Vientiane, particularly near popular tourist areas like Patuxai or the Night Market. Inform the driver that you want to go to Pha That Luang. The fare should be around 20,000 to 30,000 LAK. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right at the entrance of the temple.
