Walking
If you are starting from the center of Vientiane, make your way to the main street, Lanexang Avenue. Head north along Lanexang Avenue until you reach the intersection with Setthathirath Road. Turn right onto Setthathirath Road and continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for the large golden stupa of That Dam, which will be on your left. Continue straight until you see a small alley on your left with a sign pointing towards Wat Ong Teu. Follow this alley, and you will arrive at the temple.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Vientiane. Start from the center of the city and cycle down Lanexang Avenue heading north. After about 1 kilometer, turn right onto Setthathirath Road. Continue cycling for approximately 1 kilometer, passing That Dam. Look for a small alley on your left, marked with a sign for Wat Ong Teu. Turn into the alley and follow it to reach the temple.
