Getting There

• Car

  From the capital of Xaisomboun Province, Pha That Luang, head towards Route 13 (National Road 13). Drive for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction at the town of Laksao. Take a left onto Route 16 and continue for about 15 kilometers. Look for signs leading to Longzan, then turn right onto the unpaved road that leads directly to Longzan Xaysomboun Province. The journey takes about 1 hour, depending on road conditions.

• Public Transportation

  Catch a local bus from Pha That Luang bus station to Laksao. The bus departs every hour and costs around 20,000 LAK. Once you arrive in Laksao, you can take a tuk-tuk or a shared taxi to reach Longzan. The tuk-tuk fare is about 30,000 LAK per person, and the ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Ensure you communicate your destination clearly to the driver.

• Motorbike

  If you prefer a more adventurous route, consider renting a motorbike in Pha That Luang. Follow the same route as the car directions. The motorbike rental usually costs around 100,000 LAK per day. Make sure to wear a helmet and be cautious of road conditions, especially on the unpaved sections leading to Longzan.
