To reach Nong Fa Lake via public transportation, begin at the main bus station in Paksong. Take a bus towards Xepon; the fare is approximately 20,000 LAK (Lao Kip) and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Upon arrival in Xepon, hire a tuk-tuk or local taxi for the remaining 10 kilometers to Nong Fa Lake. This should cost around 50,000 LAK, and it's advisable to negotiate the fare beforehand.

If driving, start from Paksong, the capital of Sekong Province. Head south on Route 16 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction at Xepon. Turn left onto Route 9 and continue for another 25 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Nong Fa Lake, a few kilometers from the road. The drive should take about an hour. Ensure you have enough fuel, as gas stations can be infrequent.
