Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Phonsavan, the capital of Xiangkhoang Province. Take Route 7 heading south for approximately 25 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Na Puoc. Once you reach the village of Na Puoc, continue on the main road until you see signs for Linfar Waterfall. The waterfall is located about 5 kilometers from the village center. Please note that the road may be bumpy, so proceed with caution.
Public Transportation
To reach Linfar Waterfall using public transportation, catch a minibus or songthaew from Phonsavan to Na Puoc. These can be found at the bus station in Phonsavan. The ride should take about 30 to 45 minutes and costs around 20,000 LAK. Once you arrive in Na Puoc, you can hire a local tuk-tuk or motorbike taxi to take you the final 5 kilometers to the waterfall. Expect to pay around 30,000 to 50,000 LAK for this ride.
Walking
For those feeling adventurous and energetic, you can also walk from Na Puoc to Linfar Waterfall. The walk is approximately 5 kilometers and will take around 1 to 1.5 hours. Begin your walk by heading out of the village in the direction of the waterfall; you will pass through beautiful landscapes and local villages along the way. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the path can be uneven.
