Walking
From the center of Cēsis, start at the Cēsis Castle (Cēsu pils) and head north on Pils iela towards the river. Cross the bridge over the Gauja River and continue along the path that follows the riverbank. After about 1 km, you will reach a junction where the path splits. Take the left path, which will lead you through a forested area. Continue straight for approximately 2 km, and keep an eye out for signs pointing to 'Kaleja ala' (Blacksmith’s cave). After you see the sign, follow the path leading slightly uphill until you arrive at the cave entrance.

From Cēsis, walk to the bus station located at Celtnieku iela 1. Take the bus heading towards Raiskums (check the schedule as it may vary). After about 15-20 minutes, disembark at the Raiskums stop.
