From the House of the Blackheads, walk along Rātslaukums, then head north on Pils iela. The castle will be on your left, overlooking the Daugava River. This walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. Riga Castle is well-served by public transportation. Take tram number 5, 7, 9 or trolleybus number 12, 25 to the 'Pils laukums' stop, which is right in front of the castle.
