To reach Katlapu Rock via public transport, take a bus from Riga to Sigulda. Buses depart regularly from Riga's central bus station. A one way ticket will cost approximately 3-5 EUR. Once in Sigulda, transfer to a local bus heading towards Inčukalns. Get off at the nearest stop to Gauja National Park, and follow the signs towards Katlapu Rock, about a 1 km walk along a marked trail.

From the parking area, walk approximately 1 km along a marked trail to reach Katlapu Rock. Parking is free in Sigulda outside of Riga and Jūrmala.
