    Public Transport

    To reach Katlapu Rock via public transport, take a bus from Riga to Sigulda. Buses depart regularly from Riga's central bus station. A one way ticket will cost approximately 3-5 EUR. Once in Sigulda, transfer to a local bus heading towards Inčukalns. Get off at the nearest stop to Gauja National Park, and follow the signs towards Katlapu Rock, about a 1 km walk along a marked trail.

    Walking

    If you are already within the Gauja National Park area and close to the river, you can access Katlapu Rock by following the river trail. Look for trail markers that guide you towards Katlapu Rock. The walk is scenic and takes about 20 minutes, depending on your starting point. Be prepared for some uneven terrain along the way.

    Car

    To reach Katlapu Rock by car, head towards Inčukalns Parish, Sigulda Municipality. From Sigulda, take the P1 road towards Inčukalns. After approximately 10 km, look for signs indicating 'Katlapu Rock' or 'Gauja National Park'. Park in the designated parking area near the park entrance. From the parking area, walk approximately 1 km along a marked trail to reach Katlapu Rock. Parking is free in Sigulda outside of Riga and Jūrmala.
