Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Jūrmala. Drive towards the seaside along Jomas Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Dzintaru prospekts. Turn left onto Dzintaru prospekts and follow it until you see the entrance to Dzintari Forest Park. There is a parking area nearby where you can leave your car. From there, the Observation Tower is a short walk (approximately 10 minutes) through the park, clearly marked with signs.

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take the local train from Riga to Jūrmala. Once you arrive at the Jūrmala train station (Jūrmala is served by several stops, so make sure to get off at the correct one), walk towards the Dzintari area. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the train station to Dzintari Forest Park. Alternatively, you can take a local bus (Bus 1, 2, or 3) from the train station to the Dzintari stop. After getting off, follow the signs to Dzintari Forest Park. The Observation Tower is a short walk from the bus stop.
