Getting There

  • Train

    To reach Jūrmala from Riga, start by heading to the Riga Central Station (Rīgas Centrālā Dzelzceļa Stacija), which is located at 1b, Stacijas laukums. You can take the tram (line 1 or 3) or buses (lines 22, 23) to get there. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Jūrmala at the ticket counter or the automated machines. Trains to Jūrmala (usually to the Majori station) run frequently, about every 30 minutes. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Majori station, exit and follow the signs to the beach, which is a short walk away.
