The manor, constructed in its current form in the early 19th century under the guidance of Pastor Karl Ferdinand Amenda, belongs to the Talsi Lutheran Church. For many years, the manor was home to pastors of the Talsi Lutheran congregation and their families. In 1996, the congregation regained possession of the property. After a period of limited resources, a group of enthusiasts began revitalizing the manor in 2024, emphasizing its rich cultural and historical legacy. Today, visitors can explore renovated rooms with permanent exhibitions dedicated to the pastors who lived at the manor, events during the Soviet occupation, and displays about servants and historical artifacts. The surrounding grounds are open to the public and are frequently used for walks. Talsu Mācītājmuiža aims to be a place of peace and restoration, reflected in its motto: "Here is a place of peace, let the weary rest".
