From Bauska city center, walk east towards Pilskalna iela. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. Enjoy the local scenery as you approach the castle. The castle is situated where the Mūsa and Mēmele rivers converge.

From Riga International Bus Station, take a bus to Bauska. Buses depart from Platform 6 and the journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. From the Bauska Bus Station (Slimnīcas iela 11), it's about a 20-minute walk to the castle. Alternatively, local buses or taxis are available from the bus station to the castle. A single bus ticket within Bauska costs around €1-€2.
Driving
From Riga, drive along the A7 motorway (E67) towards Bauska, approximately 67 km. Once in Bauska, follow the signs to Pilskalna iela, where the castle is located. Parking is available near the museum. Parking is free.
