Getting There

    If you are traveling by car within Al Shouf Cedar Nature Reserve, head towards Barouk - Joub Jannine Road. Follow the signs for Barouk, which is approximately 10 kilometers from the main nature reserve areas. As you drive, enjoy the scenic views of the mountains and cedar trees. Once you reach Barouk, the entrance to the Barouk Cedar Forest is well-marked on the right side of the road. Ensure you park in designated areas.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from any major city in Lebanon (like Beirut) to the town of Baakline. From Baakline, you can catch a shared taxi (service) headed to Barouk. The fare for the bus is approximately 5,000 LBP, and the shared taxi will cost around 10,000 LBP. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will stop at Barouk - Joub Jannine Road, where the entrance to the Cedar Forest is located. The entire journey may take about 1.5 to 2 hours.
