Experience Barouk River

Getting There

    From the center of Deir el Qamar, head towards the main square, known as 'Al-Mahatta'. Once you reach the square, look for the sign pointing towards the 'Barouk' area. Follow the path that leads downhill towards the 'Barouk' village. The route is approximately 3 kilometers long and will take about 45 minutes on foot. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding mountains and the historical architecture of Deir el Qamar.

    Once you reach Barouk village, you will see a sign for the Barouk River. Continue on the main road through Barouk until you reach a fork. Take the left path which leads towards the river. You will walk for about 20 minutes through the village until you arrive at the banks of the Barouk River.
