    The most convenient way to reach the Shouf Biosphere Reserve is by car. From Beirut, take the coastal highway south to Damour, then follow the road to Beiteddine. From Beiteddine, follow signs to the Barouk or Ain Zhalta/Bmohray entrances. Alternatively, take the Damascus highway east to Aley, then head towards Ain Zhalta. Road tolls may apply. Parking is available near the reserve entrances.

    To reach the Shouf Biosphere Reserve by public transport, take a bus from Beirut to Baakline. From Baakline, catch a shared taxi (service) to Barouk. Confirm with the driver to stop at Barouk - Joub Jannine Road, near the Barouk Cedar Forest entrance. Bus fare is approximately 5,000 LBP, and the shared taxi will cost around 10,000 LBP. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.
