Walking
From the center of Anjar, start at the main square where the local shops are located. Head north on the main road (Beirut Road) towards the direction of the mountains. Walk approximately 1.5 kilometers (about 20 minutes) until you reach the fork in the road. Here, take the right path towards Harissa. Continue walking for another 1 kilometer (about 15 minutes). You will start to see signs for Harissa leading you uphill. The route will become steeper, but the views will be worth it. Follow the road until you reach the entrance of Harissa.
Public Transport
From Anjar, walk to the nearest bus station located near the main square. Look for buses heading towards Jounieh or Harissa. The fare is usually inexpensive (around 2000 LBP). Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at Harissa; they are familiar with the tourist spots. After getting off, you will need to walk a short distance to reach the main attractions in Harissa.
Taxi
You can find local taxis around the main square in Anjar. Hail a taxi and inform the driver that you want to go to Harissa. The journey should take about 20-30 minutes, and the fare will vary, so make sure to negotiate the price before starting your trip. The taxi will take you directly to Harissa, dropping you off near the main attractions.
