Walking
From the center of Aanjar, head south on the main road, which is known as the 'Beirut-Damascus Highway' (also referred to as the International Highway). Continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will see signs for the Umayyad City Ruins on your left. As you approach, look for a small entrance with a gate. The ruins are well-marked, and the entrance itself is just a short walk from the main road.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from the center of Aanjar along the main road. Start at the main square and head south on the 'Beirut-Damascus Highway'. It will take approximately 5 minutes to reach the entrance of the Umayyad City Ruins. Make sure to follow the road signs indicating the archaeological site. There is a designated area near the entrance where you can park your bicycle.

Public Transport
Take a local mini-bus heading towards Baalbek from the main bus station in Aanjar. Inform the driver that you want to visit the Umayyad City Ruins. The bus ride should last about 5-10 minutes. The driver will drop you off at a stop near the ruins. From there, walk approximately 3 minutes towards the entrance, which is easily visible from the road.
