From Batroun's main square (Place des Martyrs), head north on the main street (Al-Mina Street) towards the coastline. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, passing by local shops and cafes. Once you reach the end of the street at the waterfront, turn left onto the coastal road (Jounieh-Batroun Highway) and continue walking for about 2 kilometers. You will see the sign for Aannaya. From this point, take the pedestrian pathway leading up the hill. The Monastery Saint Maroun is located approximately 500 meters uphill, and the path is well-marked.
Public Transport
From Batroun bus station, take a bus heading towards Aannaya. Buses typically leave every 30 minutes. The ride should take around 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Aannaya, ask the driver to drop you off near the Monastery Saint Maroun. From the drop-off point, it's a short walk uphill (about 10 minutes) to the monastery entrance.
