    Getting There

    Car

    From Mokhotlong, a central point in the Maluti Mountains, take the R26 road towards Thaba-Tseka. Continue for approximately 40 kilometers until the turnoff for Mafika Lisiu Pass, marked by a sign. Turn onto the gravel road and follow it for about 15 kilometers to the viewpoint. Note that the gravel road may require a vehicle with good clearance.

    Public Transportation

    From Mokhotlong, take a taxi (kombis) to Thaba-Tseka. The taxi ride takes about 1-2 hours, depending on road conditions. From Thaba-Tseka, hire a local guide or taxi to reach the Mafika Lisiu Pass View Point, as public transport directly to the viewpoint is limited.

    Hiking

    Start from Thaba-Tseka and follow the well-trodden path north towards the mountains. This route leads through landscapes and local villages. After about 5 kilometers, take the right path at the junction, guiding you up the slopes of Mafika Lisiu Pass. This steep section requires a good fitness level, taking about 2.5 to 3 hours. Note: Hiring a local guide is recommended.
