Starting from the center of Mafeteng, head south on Main Street, passing by the local shops and markets. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Kingsway Road. Turn left onto Kingsway Road and walk for another 500 meters until you see a dirt path on your right. This path leads towards the Tsoaing River Source. Follow the dirt path for approximately 1.5 kilometers, enjoying the natural scenery. You will find the Tsoaing River Source at the end of the path. Look for the sign indicating the nature preserve. Walking this route is free.
Taxi
From the center of Mafeteng, a taxi to the Tsoaing River Source is a convenient option. Taxis are readily available in the town center. The ride to the dirt path entrance near the Tsoaing River Source takes approximately 10-15 minutes. From there, it's a 1.5km walk along the dirt path to the river source. Expect to pay around 40-60 Lesotho Loti for the taxi ride.
