After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see signs indicating the direction to Khukhune, where Liphofung Cave is located. Follow these signs as you continue on the A3. After about 2 kilometers, you will need to take a right turn onto a dirt road that leads directly to the caves. This road might be slightly rugged, so be cautious as you walk. As you approach the area, you will start to notice more signage for Liphofung Cave. The chalets are located near the entrance to the cave, where you can take a moment to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start in the center of Mafeteng and head east on Main Street towards Mafeteng Hospital. Once you reach the A3 road, turn left. Cycling along the A3 road for about 3 kilometers will bring you closer to Khukhune, where the Liphofung Cave is located. Watch for signs along the road that direct you towards Khukhune. When you see the sign for Khukhune, take the right onto the dirt road leading to the cave. This route is suitable for cycling, but be aware of any rough patches. The chalets are situated near the cave entrance, providing a picturesque setting for your visit.
