    Car

    If driving from Mokhotlong, head south on the A2 road towards Butha-Buthe. After approximately 30 km, turn onto a dirt road leading towards the Three Cascades. Follow this road for about 10 km, watching for signs to Mats'a-Mararo. A 4x4 vehicle may be required due to the rough road conditions. Once you reach the designated parking area, the cascades are a short walk away. Parking is free.

    Public Transport

    Take a taxi or shuttle from Mokhotlong to Butha-Buthe. Taxis can be found at the main taxi rank and usually leave when full. The ride will take about 1-2 hours depending on road conditions. Once in Butha-Buthe, arrange for a local taxi or a 4x4 vehicle to take you to Mats'a-Mararo, as public transport to the cascades is limited. Expect to pay around 150-200 Maloti for the ride. Be sure to negotiate the fare in advance. As of 2023, local 4+1 taxis in Lesotho cost M13.00.
