Public Transport
From Maienfeld railway station, you can reach Heididorf by taking the Heidi Bus (PostBus), which operates on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from May to October. The bus ride takes approximately 6 minutes. A single fare costs between CHF 1-3. Alternatively, you can walk from the station to Heididorf via the Heidi Trail in about 35-40 minutes.
Walking
From the center of Maienfeld, follow the brown signs indicating "Heididorf". The walk is a gently rising road lined with vineyards leading to Rofels. From Maienfeld station, the Heidiweg loop trail will take you approximately 40 minutes to Heididorf. Luggage storage is available for a small fee at the information center on Bahnhofstrasse 1.
Car
From the A13 motorway, take exit 13 (Maienfeld) and follow the brown "Heididorf" signs. These signs will lead you to the center of Maienfeld. From there, follow the signs with the car or bus symbol to the Heididorf car park, located directly in front of the Hotel Restaurant Heidihof. Parking is free. From the car park, it's about a 5-minute walk to Heididorf.
