The walk to Heididorf from the train station is approximately 35-40 minutes , offering views of vineyards and the surrounding countryside. The path is well-marked with red 'Heidiweg' signs. Luggage storage is available at the Heidi-Shop/Tourist Information at Bahnhofstrasse 1.
Driving
From the A13 motorway, take exit 13 'Maienfeld' and follow the brown 'Heididorf' signs. The Heididorf car park is located directly at the Hotel Restaurant Heidihof. Parking is available for a fee. Be aware that the roads leading to Maienfeld can be windy with steep drop-offs. Parking at the official Heididorf Parkplatz costs around CHF 5-10.
