Public Transport

From the Maienfeld train station, the Heidiweg is easily accessible. Upon exiting the station, follow the red 'Heidiweg' signs. The trail begins by winding through the streets of Maienfeld before heading towards the Heidi Village. Alternatively, during weekends and holidays from May to October, the Heidi Bus (PostBus) runs from the Maienfeld train station to Heididorf. Check the SBB website for the current schedule. A single fare on the PostBus costs approximately CHF 3.00.

Walking

From the Maienfeld train station, follow the red 'Heidiweg' signs. The well-marked trail leads you through the town and up to the Heidi Village. The walk from the train station to the Heidi Village takes approximately 40 minutes. The path is mostly paved or gravel, with a moderate incline. Luggage storage is available at the Heidi Shop near the train station for a small fee.

Car

From the A13 motorway, take exit 13 towards Maienfeld. Follow the brown signs indicating 'Heididorf'. These signs will lead you through Maienfeld and towards the Heidi Village. Parking is available near the Hotel Restaurant Heidihof, a short walk from the Heidi Village. Parking costs vary but expect to pay around CHF 5-10 for a few hours. The address for the Heididorf car park is Bovelweg 16, 7304 Maienfeld.
