Public Transport
From Maienfeld railway station, you can reach Heididorf by either walking (approx. 35-40 minutes) or taking the Heidi Bus. The Heidi Bus operates on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from May to October. A single fare on the PostBus within the local zone typically costs around CHF 3-4.
Walking
From Maienfeld railway station, follow the Heidi Trail (Heidiweg). The trail is well-marked and takes you through the historic town of Maienfeld and past vineyards. The walk to Heididorf is approximately 35-40 minutes. Luggage storage is available for a small fee at the Heidi-Shop/Tourist Information at Bahnhofstrasse 1.
Car
From the A13 motorway, take exit 13 (Maienfeld) and follow the brown signs for Heididorf. The Heididorf car park is located directly below the Hotel Restaurant Heidihof. Parking is free. From the car park, it's about a 5-10 minute walk to the entrance of Heididorf. The A13 motorway requires a valid Swiss motorway vignette (toll sticker).
