Alternatively, you can walk from the station to Heididorf via the Heidi Trail in approximately 35-40 minutes. The trail is well-marked with red "Heidiweg" signs.

    From the Heididorf car park, it's a pleasant 5-10 minute walk through scenic surroundings to reach the entrance of Heididorf. Follow the signs leading to the village. The car park is located directly in front of the Hotel Restaurant Heidihof. Parking fees are paid in advance at the designated machines.

  • Driving

    To reach Heididorf by car, take the A13 motorway and exit at Maienfeld (exit 13). Follow the brown signs indicating "Heididorf". These signs will lead you to the center of Maienfeld, and from there, continue following the signs to the Heididorf car park, located near Hotel Restaurant Heidihof. Be aware that the drive involves windy roads with steep drop-offs. A Swiss motorway vignette is required to drive on the A13; the annual vignette costs CHF 40.
