My Mother-Daughter E-bike Swiss Trip was Perfection!

A trip of a lifetime! If any part of you says, “Should I consider doing this Swiss trip?” The answer is a resounding Yes! took my 30-year-old daughter on a Mother-Daughter e-bike Trip, organized through Bike Switzerland. The director, John, worked directly with me through email during the months I was planning. He helped me tailor a trip specifically for my desires, which included seven days of biking from Geneva to Lucerne plus two days off the bike - one in the car-free ski resort of Wengen and one day in Lucerne. What a magnificent journey! Truly ideal. We rode through vineyards, past five stunning turquoise blue lakes, through mountain climbs and farm valleys and past the most picturesque towns imaginable. With the e-bikes, I was easily able to bike 20-40 miles daily and one day we rode 60 miles. All of it was breathtaking. And Bike Switzerland transported our luggage daily to the next hotel. We had a pannier bag on each bike and kept a swimsuit and picnic supplies, and we swam daily in the lakes and had such fun on lunch picnics. Bike Switzerland made everything seamless and John’s regular communication with me, plus my downloaded daily bike routes provided by Bike Switzerland, gave me such peace of mind. This was a Big trip for me plan and execute but it all was perfect. I recommend Bike Switzerland to everyone. I would do this again and again!

Thank you Breva Lake Como for this experience! The tour was really great. With great electric bikes we cycled through mountain trails in the woods with amazing views of Lake Como. To make the experience unforgettable was the arrival at this beautiful refuge where we stopped for a lunch break with local food and from which it was possible to admire a super panorama of the Lake. Highly recommended, also for ease guaranteed by electric bikes and for the competence of the guides!

What could be better than exceeding expectations

What could be better than the joy of arriving at a place that exceeds best expectations? This is what happened to us when we arrived in Rostatt in mid-December 2024 to fully enjoy the Christmas season. The beauty of the location (at 1200 m altitude) and the surrounding area can be already guessed on the inn's website. But the reality is even more impressive – with a breathtaking view of Dachstein, Hohe Tauern and Großglockner. The equipment of the rooms is at a high quality level, with materials usually found only in top hotels. This applies to our apartment “Hochgründeck” as well as to the guest room and sauna. And the most important thing – at least for us: The hosts! Sonja, Peter and “Grandma” radiate a sincere, warm warm warmth that is rarely experienced even in hospitable Austria. A state-of-the-art inn that not only bears the term “organic farm” as a label, but lives authentically in every detail! It is a pleasure to talk to Sonja and Peter about their exciting everyday life in the mountains and to experience it a bit far. So, off to Rostatt near Bischofshofen in Salzburger Land – also strategically located for exploring! Anyway, we put this domicile on our personal “top five” list (and we travel a lot 😊). Helga & Georg
