Dave was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we met him, he made us feel as though we had been friends for years and he was simply showing us around his hometown. By the end of the day, we were genuinely sad to say goodbye. He was incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process—from booking and planning to checking in on us the following day to make sure the rest of our travels were going smoothly. His passion and excitement for Switzerland were truly contagious, and you could tell how much he genuinely loves sharing his home with others. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the “real Switzerland” from Zurich. Dave customized the day specifically for us, taking us to the places we wanted to see while also offering wonderful suggestions along the way. The boat ride was definitely one of the highlights, but there were so many special moments and memories made throughout the day that we will hold dear to our hearts forever. For our first Swiss trip, we chose this region over the more crowded west, and it was the fine decision. We enjoyed a peaceful atmosphere filled with stunning landscapes and authentic history. • The turquoise water of Lake Caumasee was breathtaking. Such a relaxing trek through the quiet forest to the platform! Even seeing people relaxing and enjoying their holidays was so heartwarming for me. • The panoramic view from the platform was so high, and actually my husband was a bit terrified! Watching the trains pass through the canyon below like a model railway was a joy ❤︎ • Ilanz showed me a side of Swiss history I didn’t know. I was deeply impressed by the rustic and historic atmosphere of it. Our trip was perfect thanks to Susanne & Mirco. Susanne is such a thoughtful and kind woman. Her itinerary was absolutely perfect. Mirco is incredibly knowledgeable, multitalented, and fluent in languages, including Romansh. They added so much depth to our experience. I think they are truly a "great team" for any traveler!!
