If you are close to the Old Town of Kaunas, you can walk to Aleksotas Funicular Railway. Head towards the Nemunas River and walk along the riverbank for about 30-40 minutes until you reach the funicular's entrance at Amerikos Lietuvių g. 6. From the Kaunas city center, find the nearest tram stop and take tram number 2 towards 'Žaliakalnis'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Žaliakalnis' stop.
