Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Neringa Municipality. From the main road (E272) that runs along the Lithuanian seaside, take the exit towards Neringa. Drive into the town of Nida. Once in Nida, follow the signs to Parnidis Dune. You will reach a parking area near the entrance to the dune. Note that parking may be subject to a fee, so be prepared with some change or a parking card.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Parnidis Dune Observation Deck via public transportation, take a bus to Nida from major cities like Klaipeda. The bus station in Nida is located near the center of town. From there, you can either walk to the Parnidis Dune Observation Deck, which is approximately a 30-minute walk along the scenic paths, or you can rent a bike from a nearby shop. The rental cost for a bike typically ranges from €5 to €10 for a few hours.

• Walking

  If you have arrived in Nida, you can walk directly to the Parnidis Dune Observation Deck. From the center of Nida, head towards the Curonian Spit. Follow the marked walking trails that will take you through beautiful pine forests and along the dunes. The walk is approximately 2 km and should take around 30 minutes. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the sandy paths can be uneven.
