    From Trakai Island Castle, exit the castle grounds and head towards the main road, which is near the bridge you crossed to get to the island. Walk across the bridge back to the mainland. Once you reach the mainland, turn left and follow the path along the lake until you reach the bus stop. This is where you will catch a bus to Vilnius.

  • Bus

    At the bus stop, look for a bus heading towards Vilnius. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time for accurate timings. The ticket can typically be purchased from the driver or at a ticket machine, costing around €2-€3.

  • Walking

    Once you arrive in Vilnius, disembark at the main bus station. From there, head to the nearby bus stop for public transport. You can take bus number 1 or 2, which will take you to the vicinity of Gediminas Castle Tower. Get off at 'Gedimino pr.' stop.
