Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Cathedral Square in the heart of Vilnius. Head east towards the Vilnius University, passing by the Church of St. Anne. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Maironio Street. Turn left onto Maironio Street and then take the first right onto Šv. Ignoto Street. Follow this street until it leads you to the entrance of the Bernardine Gardens. Enter the gardens and walk towards the river until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge over the Vilnia River, and you will see a path leading up to Altana Hill. Follow the path up to enjoy the scenic views.

  • Public Transport

    From the Cathedral Square, walk to the nearest bus stop, 'Gedimino prospektas'. Take bus number 88 towards 'Antakalnis'. Get off at the 'Krivių g.' stop. From there, walk up Krivių Street, which will lead you directly to Altana Hill. The walk is approximately 10 minutes.
