Walking
If you are in Mid City, start by heading south on Government Street towards the downtown area. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with North 4th Street. Turn left onto North 4th Street and head towards the Capitol. After about a 15-minute walk, you will reach the Louisiana State Capitol building. From there, you can see the Old Arsenal Museum located at 900 Capitol Lake Drive, which is directly adjacent to the Capitol. It should take you roughly 25-30 minutes to walk from Mid City to the museum.
