If you're in Mid City, start at the intersection of Government Street and South Acadian Thruway. Head south on South Acadian Thruway for about 0.5 miles until you reach North Boulevard. Take a left onto North Boulevard and continue walking for about 0.3 miles. You will then reach the Mississippi River. Continue straight onto River Road, and after about 0.2 miles, the Pentagon Barracks Museum will be on your right at 702 River Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70802. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from a local bike-sharing program available in Mid City. Start from the bike station nearest to you and head south on South Acadian Thruway.
