If you are in the French Quarter, start at Jackson Square. From Jackson Square, head northeast on St. Ann Street towards Royal Street. Turn right onto Royal Street and walk until you reach Esplanade Avenue. Turn left onto Esplanade Avenue and continue walking for about 10 minutes. The New Orleans Jazz Museum will be on your left at 400 Esplanade Ave.

From the French Quarter, head to the nearest streetcar stop along Decatur Street. Take the Riverfront Streetcar towards the French Market. Get off at the stop at Esplanade and Chartres. Walk east on Esplanade Avenue for a few blocks, and the New Orleans Jazz Museum will be located at 400 Esplanade Ave on your right.
