After about 30 minutes of walking, you will reach the intersection of Magazine St and Julia St. The National WWII Museum will be on your left at 945 Magazine St. The total walking distance is about 1.5 miles and should take around 30-35 minutes.

From the Garden District, head to the nearest streetcar stop on St. Charles Ave. Board the St. Charles streetcar heading towards the downtown area. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the Canal St. stop. From there, transfer to the Riverfront streetcar line and board the streetcar heading towards the French Market. Ride for 2 stops (about 5 minutes) and get off at the stop for the National WWII Museum.
