From Slidell, head to the nearest bus stop located at 1000 Old Spanish Trail. Catch the #20 bus towards New Orleans. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes until you reach the stop at Canal at Chartres. Once you disembark, transfer to the #88 bus heading towards the Lower Garden District. Ride for about 10 minutes until you reach the stop at Julia & Magazine. From there, walk a short distance to Julia Street (300-600 block) to explore the Arts District.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Slidell city center. Head west on Gause Boulevard. Follow the bike paths and routes towards the New Orleans Lakefront area. Continue towards the Crescent City Connection bridge, which will lead you into New Orleans. Once on the New Orleans side, navigate towards the Lower Garden District and make your way to Julia Street. It will take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your speed.
