Getting There

• Bus

  To reach Sci-Port Discovery Center from the Shreveport Downtown area, first locate the nearest bus stop on Texas Street. Board the RIDE public bus heading towards the Downtown area. You will want to check the bus schedule for the most current times. After about a 10-minute ride, get off at the bus stop closest to Clyde Fant Parkway. From there, walk eastward along Clyde Fant Parkway for approximately 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Sci-Port Discovery Center, located at 820 Clyde Fant Pkwy.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to bike, start by heading towards the Clyde Fant Parkway bike trail. Follow the trail which runs adjacent to the river. Enjoy the scenic views as you make your way along the pathway. Continue on the trail until you reach the vicinity of Sci-Port Discovery Center at 820 Clyde Fant Pkwy. The center is easily accessible from the bike path, and there are bike racks available for parking.

• Walking

  For those who prefer walking, start at the Shreveport Convention Center, which is a central location in Downtown Shreveport. Head south on Clyde Fant Parkway, following the riverfront path. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk. You'll pass by beautiful river views and public art installations before arriving at Sci-Port Discovery Center located at 820 Clyde Fant Pkwy.
