Once on the RTA #5, get off at the 'Bayou St. John' stop. The bayou will be within walking distance from there.

Upon arrival at the New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal, walk towards Canal Street and catch the RTA streetcar (either the Canal or Riverfront line) towards the French Quarter. Get off at 'Carondelet Street' and transfer to a bus or continue walking. Follow the directions on your map app towards Bayou St. John, which is about a 30-40 minute walk from the streetcar stop.
