    From Luxembourg City, head to Luxembourg train station (Gare de Luxembourg). You can take tram line 1 or 7 to reach the station. Once at the station, buy a ticket to Trier, Germany. The train journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Upon arrival at Trier train station, exit the station and head towards the bus stops, where you can catch bus line 6 towards 'Trier, Weimarer Allee'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Weimarer Allee' stop, and the Rhineland State Museum will be right in front of you.

    Starting from the city center of Luxembourg City, find the nearest bus stop to the 'Gare de Luxembourg' (Train Station). Take bus line 16 towards 'Trier, Mosel' or line 21 towards 'Trier, Bischofsheim'. The bus ride will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Trier, get off at 'Trier, Weimarer Allee' stop. The Rhineland State Museum is located directly across the street from the bus stop.
