    From the center of Echternach, start at the Echternach Abbey. Head southwest on Rue de l'Abbaye towards Rue de la Gare. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N10 road. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the border with Germany. After crossing the border, follow the signs to Trier. You're approximately 2 kilometers from Trier city center. Once you enter Trier, continue straight until you reach Matthiasstraße. The church will be on your left at Matthiasstraße 79.

    Catch the bus number 110 from the Echternach bus station towards Trier. The bus departs every 30 minutes. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Trier, Kaiserstraße' stop. From there, walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Matthiasstraße. Turn right onto Matthiasstraße, and you will find the Katholische Kirchengemeinde St. Matthias on your left at number 79.
