If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Andasibe-Mantadia National Park. Head southwest on Route Nationale 2 (RN2) towards Antananarivo. After approximately 5 kilometers, look for a sign indicating the direction to Chute Sacree Trail. Turn right onto the dirt road and continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach the designated parking area for the trailhead. Make sure to have a map or GPS on hand as the roads can be poorly marked.

Public Transportation
To reach Chute Sacree Trail using public transportation, you can take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) from the main taxi-brousse station in Andasibe. Head towards Moramanga and inform the driver you want to stop at Chute Sacree. The fare is approximately 1,000 Ariary (around $0.25). The journey will take about 30 minutes, and you will need to ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the trailhead. From there, follow the dirt road for about 20 minutes until you reach the trail entrance.

If you prefer to walk and are staying nearby, you can trek to the Chute Sacree Trail from the main park area. Start by heading along the park’s main paths towards the southeast. It will take approximately 1 hour on foot, covering about 4 kilometers. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and carry enough water, as some parts of the path may be rugged.
