Car
If you are driving from Fort Dauphin, head southeast on RN13 towards Amboasary Sud. Continue on RN13 for about 60 kilometers until you reach the X8Q3+Q4R intersection. Turn right onto the dirt road leading to Debut transect malaza. The site is approximately 5 kilometers down this road. Be cautious as the road can be rough in some sections.
Taxi-Brousse
From Fort Dauphin, take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) heading to Amboasary Sud. The fare is around 5,000 Ariary (approximately $1.50). Once you arrive in Amboasary Sud, ask the driver to drop you off near the X8Q3+Q4R location. From there, you may need to walk about 5 kilometers down the dirt road to reach Debut transect malaza. Alternatively, you can negotiate with a local taxi for a short ride to the site.

If you are in Amboasary Sud, you can walk to Debut transect malaza. Start by heading toward the X8Q3+Q4R intersection. From there, take the dirt road leading to the site. Be prepared for a trek of about 5 kilometers. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the walk can take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
